Building Setback A building setback is the horizontal distance measured at a right angle from any lot line to the nearest part of the main wall of a building or structure.

Front Yard Setback A front yard setback is the horizontal distance on a lot measured at a right angle from the front lot line to the nearest main wall of a building or structure.

Side Yard Setback A side yard setback is the horizontal distance on a lot measured at a right angle from the side lot lines to the nearest main wall of a building or structure.
